A Clean-up Day set for Saturday
Thousand Oaks residents can participate in an annual Clean-up and Recycling Day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., May 27 at Conejo Creek Park South. It's across the street from the Grant R. Brimhall/ Thousand Oaks Library, just east of the 23 Freeway.
Participants must be able to prove they are residents of T.O. and they must separate donations, electronics, recyclables and waste items. Be prepared to do your own unloading. No commercial waste and no hazardous or liquid items will be accepted. No landscaping companies can participate.
No one will be admitted after 3 p.m.
Another free disposal day is planned for the Simi Valley Landfill from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sun., Sept. 17. For more information, call (805) 449-SAVE or visit the website at www.toaks.org
