FREE DUMP DAY FOR THOUSAND OAKS AND MOORPARK
Simi Valley – September 9, 2005 - Waste Management in conjunction with the cities of Thousand Oaks and Moorpark will be having a “free dump day” on September 18th. Residents can dispose of all their extra trash and bulky items free of charge. The free disposal event will be held at the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center located at 2801 Madera Road in Simi Valley.
There is no charge to residents of Thousand Oaks and Moorpark who identify themselves with valid drivers license. Residents who do not present these items will be charged at the regular rate. The event is for resident’s only, commercial vehicles and businesses will subject to regular rates.

Over 1800 vehicles attended the May 2005 event and over $75,000 in free disposal services was given to local residents. The “free dump days” are popular, so plan accordingly and remember to tarp your loads.
